This
block holds another one of Denver's few historic high-rises: the University
Building at the corner of 16th and Champa, a distinguished 12-story
structure built in 1910. Also one this block are a number of other
historic and not-so-historic structures; of note is the former Joslins
Department Store that was stripped of its mid-century metal facade, restored
to its original glory, and converted into a Courtyard by Marriott hotel. |
