A few weeks ago, the folks at Callahan Capital Partners posted new renderings of Two Tabor Center on their website. After a day or so, they took them down and put back up the same images of the proposed tower that they had previously, which are the ones I currently have on the Block 068 page showing 38 floors.
In my 2007 Retrospective, I noted how the final design and floor count has evolved over the past year, and that one design had the tower at 43 stories. These new renderings show that 43-story version–check it out:
These renderings come with the disclaimer, of course, that since they were pulled from the Callahan website, this may not be what we ultimately get–so don’t get your hopes up. But even if we get the 38-story version of this tower, I won’t complain. It will still be an awesome addition to our skyline, no?
I couldn't exactly tell how the last design would look irl, but if it looks like this (but shorter), then that'd be fine by me!
NICE!
I would be interested to see if they have talked to RTD about a bus waiting area at the ground level for the new building. Right now it looks like it is just an open arcade but some nice canopy design could be a great feature for that bus stop that is heavily used.
that is absolutely beautiful…great use of the site and really adds to our skyline – class AAA for sure.
could be 600 feet? a perfect addition to our somewhat imbalanced skyline.
Hard to tell what's going on w/ the base, but yeah: pretty attractive.
Beautiful. It's not a box with a flat top. It will really help our skyline.
Sweet!
I see by the website that the total height is 718ft. Isnt that 4 ft higher than Republic Plaza??? I might be wrong, someone check my math.
No that is right, but over 100 of that is underground as part of the foundation and parking garage.
Oops, thats right, I see that now. I was curious how a 38 floor building could end up taller than a 54 floor building would. 🙂
