New Curtis Park-Five Points Project: Trellis

There’s a new infill project planned for Downtown Denver’s Curtis Park-Five Points district: Trellis. The project will be located near the corner of 26th and Lawrence (2523 Lawrence, officially) and feature 11 townhomes starting at $600k. For more information, including floorplans and other details, take a look at the project website: www.visitTRELLIS.com.

Here are some renderings and a site plan, courtesy of the firm marketing the project, Classic New Home Sales:

February 8 Update: Thanks to Chris at in situ Design, the architects of Trellis, here’s an additional rendering:

Trellis is being developed by New Communities.

Looks like an interesting project. However, the map on their website is a very midleading. It shows Coors field as being located between 24th and 25th on Blake Street, North of Park Ave. West. Thus, only three blocks from their project. In reality it is more like 6 blocks. Probably something they should fix on their website

This one is already under construction.

I love the Eichler-esque windows under the eaves, but with the large wall windows. The eave windows in the 1950's modernist houses nicely infuse the rooms with ambient daylight, but often they did not have enough large wall windows so you could see outside.

This looks like a great project. A breath of fresh air from all "The URBAN" townhomes popping all over the place with the same floor plan and elevations!! Did architests forget about being site specific!
