Christopher: On a blog about the Mixed-Use Tower, you've posted 6 comments about an entirely different building, La Boheme. Can we agree that the city of Denver is big enough to support a variety of different legal enterprises? If that building was in disrepair, I imagine more people would want it removed, but it looks nice and it does well enough to stay in business. If I were the owner, I sure as heck wouldn't move it to a new location. I'd rather see 90% of the other buildings along 15th be renovated or have parking lots go vertical – rather than see La Bo removed. From what I see, they are a positive stakeholder in DT right now and have their niche in "entertaining" a small percentage of convention go-ers. Leave 'em be.

funny…of course nobody would cite strip clubs as a reason for going to a certain city for a convention…it's one of the "unspoken truths" of the convention business. like it or not…it's how it is.

of course our city is beautiful…where would you recommend we move all of the uses that you deem to be 'less beautiful'?
