Red White and Blue for the Sage Building

With exterior renovations complete, the Sage Building at 16th & Welton is recreating the look from its 1923 grand opening as Steel’s Department Store by decorating the building with bunting and US flags… nicely appropriate to celebrate next week’s Democratic National Convention. Here’s a shot from a few hours ago when just the first few flags had been installed:

When complete, it should look something like this:

Thank you, Evan Makovsky, for bringing this building back to life in so many ways!

Have you been by the Teatro hotel? Similar look to it, with all the flags. I've been feeling so patriotic lately walking downtown.

Yes Evan, thank you very much for this renovation. Ken for someone who admires revitalizing historic features of Denver I'm surprised and somewhat disappointing that you didn't make a posting on the fountain. As a native here I was never aware of its existence but look forward to checking it out this weekend.

Well you know, Johnnie, that's outside of my DenverInfill area. I gotta draw the lines somewhere. But yes, it's very cool about the fountain!
