New Project: 1756 Clarkson

Uptown has been seeing a huge wave of development lately and it keeps on going. Today we are looking at the site located at 1756 Clarkson. If you remember back in 2008, this was going to be the site of the 4-story development, Fluent Lofts. This may not be a whole city block like other developments but, it fills in a very vital gap and helps the urbanity of Uptown. Below you can see the site outlined in yellow.

I do have one rendering for the development I found over at Confluence Builders, who is the general contractor for the project. According to the website this will be a 60-unit, 5-story multifamily development.

Site prep work has begun. Today I was by the site and construction equipment has moved on site giving a great sign progress. Those red tower cranes in the background are for the Exempla Saint Joseph’s project.

1756 Clarkson will cost a total of 6.7 million dollars and is expected to be complete by Fall of 2013.
