The corner of 15th and Market Street is about to get a lot better from both an urban and pedestrian perspective. Just over a month ago, we reported that fencing had gone up around the small surface lot at 1510 Market with construction underway. Given the small nature of the build, and virtually no underground work, you would assume that this project will go up fairly quickly.
Fortunately, that assumption is correct as 1510 Market is swiftly progressing! The four-story core has already topped out with steel starting to go vertical. Here are two photos of the progress from this past weekend. The very tall core in the background of the second photo is for 1144 Fifteenth which we will swing by within the next week or two.
We will come back around for an update when the four-story steel structure has topped out. 1510 Market is expected to be complete later this year.
Nice! I can pick up about 10 small lots right off the top of my head where I would love to see something like this happen.
Sad for the wonderful re-development of Rocky Mtn Seed to lose their windows!
No, the new building is an addition to the Rocky Mountain Seed building. The same tenants occupying the building will expand into the addition and each floor will connect to the addition.
The laminated wood beams they’ve used on this project look great!
