The Laurel Update #3

As we continue on with our Cherry Creek tour, let’s check in over at The Laurel, a 71-unit condo project located between 1st and 2nd Avenue along Steele Street. This area of Cherry Creek North has had the most vertical developments over the past couple of years, and The Laurel will contribute to this already dense street.

In regards to height, this project will rise 12 stories, the same height as its neighbors, the Steele Creek Apartments, 100 Saint Paul and Coda. As far as progress goes, excavation and underground work is now complete and the core is peeking up above street level. Here are two photos of the project site from the northern corners looking south.

Let’s wrap up with a panorama of the project site.

The Laurel still has a little over a year to go, but the exciting part of construction has now begun. We will check back in a couple of months when more vertical progress has been made.

Do they have any legit renderings of this yet? I saw the one that focuses on a small snippet of an entryway, but there must be something more substantial.

There is a website now, which has a couple of redesigns that show more of the design.
