Since our announcement back in November, 355 Logan has made it out of the ground with work beginning on the second floor. As a refresher, 355 Logan will be providing 171 apartment homes to the Speer neighborhood contained in a six / eight-story building.
Let’s start out with some views of the project looking north. The cores in the background belong to its immediate neighbor, Modera West Wash Park. Given how the structure looks currently, this project should be an all concrete structure.
Here are two additional views of 355 Logan. The south end of the project already has a complete first floor with work starting on the second.
The Speer corridor has always featured a wonderful amount of density and is now gaining even more with two new eight-story projects going up on the same block!
I wonder if Mancinelli’s has gotten any interest from developers for their property…sure seems like a prime location for some community commercial development in between the two new multifamily buildings currently going up.
I’ve already talked to them, and they aren’t selling anytime soon. They have reci3ved oodles of interest from developers, but are staying put for now.
Mancinelli’s is in the same position as Toyexus at the corner of S. Broadway and Exposition. Now, it’s right next to the new Roth Living headquarters/showroom building (which is beautiful) and Toyexus is still doing a booming business and the owner enjoys his work. But he’s sitting on a goldmine.
