The tallest building currently under construction in Downtown Denver is Block 162, a 30-story office tower that appears to have recently topped off, with the structural steel frame finally rising to the top of the concrete elevator core.

Our last Block 162 update was in January, so it’s time we take a fresh look at this project from all sides as the tower and its glass curtain wall are clearly making an impression on the Denver skyline. We will begin with the views from the west and work our way around the site counterclockwise.

That’s it for our photo tour of Block 162’s progress to date. The tower is expected to open in late 2020 or early 2021 so we’ll have at least one more opportunity to visit the site before the grand opening.
