The La Alma/Lincoln Park infill project at 13th and Osage named Osage Courts is getting closer to construction and the design of the project is also now available. Here are some images obtained from the architect Van Meter Williams Pollack website:
The project consists of 185 market-rate rental units wrapped around/above a parking structure. The project is also aiming for LEED Silver certification, and it’s within walking distance of both the 10th and Osage and Auraria at Colfax light rail stations.
Construction is planned to be complete about a year from now.
nice, they also just finished tearing down an old warehouse on 13th and Osage by the tracks. Dont think its part of this project, but in the area slated for redevelopment in the La Alma/Lincoln park area on the city's urban planning website. Sorry dont remember the link.
Is this Osage Courts project located at Colfax and Osage, or Osage and 13th? The Van Meter Williams Pollack website refers to it as being across the street from Lincoln Park, which would seem to indicate it's at 13th rather than Colfax. Maybe it's the same site x-nova is referring to?
sweet, that will be a great corner to have filled in!
They need to tear down that McDonalds over there too
I really love the creativity put in that website, i suggest you all check it out. Ken, I'm being lazy and posting before i change my google profile nickname back to correa.
correa
Vicki, you're right. Oops, I mixed up my Osage projects. This is the one at 13th & Osage, not Colfax & Osage. Correction pending…
Looks like 49 other projects in this city. I love that there's so much construction going on in this city, but is it so much to ask for original design?
The SugarCubed building is a great example of original and oustanding design that can be subtle and work with the surrounding environment. Yet almost no one else seems to be doing that…why?
I agree with artistic mercenary. Sugar Cubed looks great. Especially when viewed from 15th looking up Blake. The night view is really quite nice as well.
I am just glad that this is an apartment project. Too many of these newer residential developments are condo-only, so I am glad to have a neat, affordable apartment complex being built in the central city area, especially one so close to light rail access. Since this area tends to be more rental-focused anyway, I am glad they are choosing that model.
It's good apartment. It's gorgeours.
