Two additional tower cranes are now up in the Central Platte Valley! One of the cranes is for AMLI Riverfront Green, the other for the Parkside Apartments. This brings the tower crane count to five in the Central Platte Valley alone. As you all know, we like to do a tower crane census about twice a year, so expect one in the next week or two as there are around 30 tower cranes up in Central Denver right now.
Here are a few photos of the two new cranes. The shorter blue crane is for the Parkside Apartments and the taller white and grey crane is for AMLI Riverfront Green.
Over the past week, two more tower cranes went up in Arapahoe Square for Alexan Arapahoe Square and Alexan 20th Street Station. We will be visiting those shortly.
I’d be curious to know if you’re going to exclude certain types of cranes. There are a couple that I see every day here in City Park West. The one building the new rec center is some kind of mobile/truck crane – but it sure is big. And the one building The York I think is what you would call a “self-erecting crane?” Also, don’t forget the cranes at 8th and Osage. I always forget about those ones.
