2680 18th Street Update #1

Back in March, we reported on a proposed residential development bringing 100 new homes to Lower Highland at 2680 18th Street. That’s at the corner of 18th and Erie at almost the very northwestern tip of the downtown street grid. Since then, the project has broken ground and is starting to go vertical. Shaw Construction is the general contractor.

Here are a few recent photos:

Here’s the future view looking south from 18th and Erie, courtesy of Studio PBA, the project architect.

Completion is planned for summer 2018.

Have viewed your. page for several years and enjoy it. However, you seldom credit the architects. Who do you think makes the good and bad design decisions? Who gets the praise and who gets the blame?

We credit the architect in virtually every single post. Rarely do we have a rendering of a project that is unattributed. However, we are not an architectural criticism site.
