One of the tallest projects in the River North neighborhood is under construction. 3463 Walnut, a 13-story, 382-unit apartment project, is beginning to peek out of the ground as the structure for the underground levels are now complete.
Below are a couple of photos from the intersection of 35th Street and Walnut Street. This project is making much more use of its land by replacing a couple of small warehouses and surface parking.
Looking a little closer at the construction site, here are a couple detail photos highlighting the first floor columns coming out of the ground.
A tower crane is a fairly good indicator of how tall a project is going to be. This project will rise to around the second to last ladder section of the tower crane which, as you can see, adds some much needed height and density to the 38th and Blake transit area.
We are excited to see this project rise over the next year or so!
Love this project. Will add some nice scale to among all the smaller developments in RiNo. If you had told me 15 years ago what this part of Denver was to become, I would have s@&$….. and then bought up as much property as I could here.
Hi Denver Infill,
There is a big development going in at holly and Leetsdale. Is there any good way to find out what is happening there?
This is a good way to see what’s going on in each parcel: https://denvergov.org/maps/map/developmentservices
When you click on the parcel, look for a ‘Site Development Plan’ and it should give you a description of what it going on.
