This block
holds the southern half of the Denver Pavilions retail/entertainment
complex. On this half one will find the 15-screen United Artists
theater, Barnes & Noble, Hard Rock Cafe, and a number of smaller retailers
and restaurants. Like its neighbor to the north on Block 173, the back
side of the Pavilions presents a massive blank wall to 15th Street that will
only be hidden upon the development of the rest of the block. Brookfield Development
owns this site and has discussed a long-term plan to develop the parcel into
a mixed use highrise project. |
