I will try to get a picture of Downtown from 6th Ave or Colfax this weekend. It's much more impressive from that vantage point.

If you look harder, you'll see they did plant trees. But it doesn't even matter, since Union Station Redevelopment will bulldoze this thing in a few years.

The parking lot in the foreground is a temporay lot (it is currently being used by the tenants in the Gates Building). It has a lease end date, and the new 1900 16th Street Project (big yellow crane in foreground to the right) will incorporate the parking from the Gates Building tenants into that project. That then allows the temporary surface parking lot to be developed (and plans are already underway for that block!)
The Gates tenants currently also use over 50% Eco-Passes!!
