The Downtown Denver skyline has a new feature: a tower crane for the Embassy Suites project at 14th and Stout.

Thank you to Grant B. for the pic.

Denver was just named the most desirable place to live by Pew Research Center. Checkout the Denver Post article here:

They probably just brought that crane in to help with the demolition. ;-)

Now if they would just put a bulldozer in front of the rescue mission and promptly level it (with all the meth-heads still inside, this city would be heading in the right direction. Then they could erect a crane there and put up something that isn't a hazard to public safety and doesn't lower propery value.

Does anyone know how much taller the Spire will get? Right now it looks about even with the Hyatt

It's about as tall as it's going to be. You can see the elevator tower on the west side… that's the final height. Another two stories maybe?

    The Spire is topped out.
