Today I have a very quick update on a great Central Downtown project: 999 17th Street. On Saturday, a new red tower crane started to go up on the project site! Here is a quick aerial of the progress. The jib was just getting delivered as I took this photo.
We will head on over to the project site and check on the progress once the new tower crane is fully assembled!
I believe the project name has officially been changed to 1776 Curtis. Likely for marketing reasons. Both Shae Properties and GE Johnson Construction are now referring to the project by its new name. Any news on final renderings? It’s been awhile since any have been released (non were final) and with a crane on site I would assume they’ve finalized all those details.
I’ve heard that the apartment tower is now going by 1776 Curtis, but I think the office building may still go by 999 17th, which would make sense.
That would make sense. Thanks! Looking forward to some final renderings once those come out. Fingers crossed it hasn’t changed much from the last round we saw.
I was wondering about new renderings as well. Are we assuming it is the same as it was at your last posting?
I think there’s been a delay in new renderings because Shae Properties experienced a delay in excavation due to a very old building that was found in the ground.
