If you have been around Park Avenue West and Walnut lately you will notice that a structure has started to rise out of the ground accompanied by large yellow crawler cranes. Let’s take a look!

This is a great example of prefabricated construction. The part of the parking garage, pictured below, has been arriving in pieces and put together. This is a very easy and cost effective way of building something; especially as simple as a parking structure.

One nice thing about this current structure under construction is it gives you an idea of how tall the entire development is going to be. Remember, just like Once City Block, 2300 Walnut is taking up the entire city block boundby Larimer, Walnut, Park Avenue West, and 24th Street.
