Since our last update on 210 Saint Paul back in March, the project has significantly progressed and is starting to show its final form. As a little refresher, 210 Saint Paul replaced a small 25,000 square foot retail building and will be providing 76 units of residential apartments along with 11,500 square feet of retail.
Rising a total of eight stories, 210 Saint Paul adds a significant amount of density to the 2nd Avenue corridor in Cherry Creek North. The structure for the building is comprised mostly of light gauge steel on top of a concrete podium, which we have started to see with new apartments above six stories. This type of construction is quick, efficient, and cost effective.
Insulation and weather proofing is also starting to go up on the exterior of the building. The facade will feature all dark brick and glass. Once complete, this will be a sharp looking contribution to the neighborhood. Head on over to our previous update for an updated rendering.
There is a lot of construction taking place within a few blocks of 210 Saint Paul, which we will be exploring throughout the next couple of days.
