Over in the Union Station neighborhood, Cadence is beginning to rise at a rapid pace. Zocalo Development is beginning to make their mark as the first high-rise in the, what was once so barren, Union Station redevelopment area.
Given that Cadence is a 13-story building, concrete is the structure material of choice. Here you can see they have four stories built; however, today when I was passing by, they were already up to five stories, giving us a build rate of about a floor per week.
Cadence is a great start to adding some quality density to the Union Station neighborhood. Thirteen stories will make a significant difference here and will eventually blend in to a great urban fabric. On a side note, my previous and some future updates are all the same batch of photos with this amazing blue sky backdrop we are so lucky to have here in Denver. Stay tuned for much more development coverage around this neighborhood!
Why do you think this building is progressing so rapidly but the 2 wing buildings are going so much slower?
Also, I know this horse has been beat to death but does anyone know the delay on 20th & Chestnutt?
Great pic and writeup as usual!
Ryan,
Hello – how can I contact you about a development project we’re doing in Denver? You may or may not have an interest, but I want to check.
Thanks.
Hey Mike, I sent you an email to the address you provided for the comment. Thanks!
