The other day I posted the latest rendering of Trammell Crow’s 1900 16th Street project. Today I’m pleased to share with you a supersized version, courtesy of Tryba Architects.
Also, it looks like construction is about to begin on the Cosmopolitan Club, the the 7-story assisted-living senior housing project planned for the corner of Little Raven and 15th, just across the tracks from 1900 16th Street.
Looks like two more major projects are about to break ground in Downtown Denver!
v nice!
on another subject… does anyone know when the lightrail tracks are schedule to be realigned? and will the current tracks (along the proposed building/16th St) be made into a pedestrian corridor?
That Cosmo club is a piece of work. I'm so excited about it. Not to mention this thing going up too.
Wow Ken, that is a gorgeous building. The first rendering was so-so, this is absolutely gorgeous. (Now only if it could have been taller. hehe)
Why do you think Cosmo will break ground? I haven't seen a permit for it yet. Only thing I've seen is a sales office and some work being done to Moffat station.
Hey, Ken I was walking to El Chipultepec with some friends an noticed 1800 Larimer hadn't started. That has to be the uggliest block in Lodo. Any word on that? I know the scoreboard says fall 2007. I hope that's true man.
Awesome! I love every building that is planned in this area.
I'm still counting 13 floors on that Phase 2 office building. Perhaps I'm counting them wrong.
Is everyone having a brain fart…1800 Larimer is not the same as 1800 Market.
That train is moving dangerously fast! How does it stay on the tracks?
Will the glass really have that green/turquoisish reflection?
Hey Infill Junkie, What is this talk on Skyscraperpage about you not being on there anymore? Dude what up with that?
The Spire crane moved today, or maybe yesterday, but all i can notice is that it has definitely moved for the first time in weeks, hopefully a good sign. I can see if from my window, peace
Hey Greenboy, what's up with me not posting? I guess after being on the forum for almost two years posting…I just got bored. I got bored with some of the personalities on there and I just got bored in general dealing with some of the annoying outages. So if I have something to say I just post it here. Which by the way, there is a new 17 unit apartment being constructed on W Dunkeld place in Highlands. It's actually being constructed for those people living with HIV/AIDS. Plus, I believe Skyline Townhomes at 28th and Zuni is getting closer to happening and I just learned the entire strip mall at Zuni and W Caithness was sold and there are plans to demolish it to build a high density project there.
yO anon. The Spire Crane was moved by the wind. Still a Ghost town out there..
Man, that nichols is in some deep doodoo. I wonder if this is a flop. Its really too bad because i think we all wanted to see how this one would compare to the one in Atlanta. Have you guys noticed how long its taking the Embassy to get their building permit? Whats up w/ that?
GO ROCKIES
Wow, looks great. A ginormous improvement over earlier rendering.
Anon 9:16 AM. The Spire in Atlanta is hideous.
As far as Nichols being in deep doodoo? Until that crane comes down, there is still hope. Developers just don't get financing in a New York minute. Especially with the credit crunch, I'm sure the lenders are taking their sweet time to give their backing. Like I said, if the crane is dismantled then we should worry but until then…there's hope!
