I’m happy to report that after a month of working away at it in my “spare” time, I just uploaded the new-and-improved Central Downtown section. Like Arapahoe Square and Lower Downtown before it (plus all the Center City districts), all of Central Downtown now has the new page layout and the larger 2007 color aerial photos. While I was at it, I also incorporated all the latest project information, renderings, construction photos, etc.
Only two to go: Upper Downtown and Civic Center!
Ken,
Things look great..! However, I'm surprised you don't solicit advertising related to downtown development to help off-set your cost and the time that it must take to maintain this site. The fact that you do this in your spare time is commendable.
I look at those photos of the Arapahoe Square, the close proximity LRT line and all those parking lot just begging for redevelopment. I'd much rather have investment dollars go here than along I-25 (I wish I controlled some investment dollars). I don't downplay the importance of TOD along the SE LRT line, but I'd much rather have the choice of living near downtown than out along I-25, even near a LRT station. Give me Uptown Denver any day over Greenwood Village (nothing personal!). Maybe, just maybe the right people attending the DNC will see this area of Denver and just jump at the chance to do something with these essentially vacant properties, maybe….
I didn't see taboo II. Did I miss it or is that project cancelled?
Block 068.
Bravo Kenneth, Bravo!
