Today I realized that it’s been a while since I have touched base on the Exempla/Saint Joseph Hospital Heritage Project. A lot has changed since my update from last August and a lot of vertical construction has taken place. Let’s take a look!

The picture on the left is the mixed-use/parking structure which has topped out. It appears to be just a parking structure so it will be interesting to see what other uses this building will have. On the right is the central utility plant for the whole complex which is currently under construction.

Looking east along Downing Street you can see the main structure for the hospital has been rising. It may not seem like much in the photos but this structure is huge and quite impressive. This is where the main hospital will be along with additional parking.

Parking garages are great for, well, parking but they are also a great tool to use when you want to get a good vantage point on something. Here are some more “above” shots of this development. On the left, the main hospital and on the right, the utility plant with the mixed use structure in the background.

Today I am leaving you with a little bonus picture. When I was on top of the parking garage taking pictures, I turned around and saw this great view of  Downtown Denver with our amazing blue skies!

Over the next week we will be catching up on some projects that haven’t been updated in a while. Stay tuned!
