Here’s a quick update on the proposed dual-branded Hyatt Place/Hyatt House hotel project at the corner of 14th and Glenarm Place in Upper Downtown Denver… a rendering!
The 21-story, 361-room hotel project is being developed by White Lodging of Merrillville, Indiana. The project architect is PFVS Architecture of Atlanta, Georgia.
Construction is anticipated to begin before the end of the year.
I see the scaffolding has been removed from Union Station. The station looks amazing since it has been thoroughly cleaned!
Another embellished Box is better than a parking lot.
SVC… Indeed it is and at least you were very fair to describe it as “embellished” (LOL).
If it’s any consolation, White Lodging is also building a Hyatt Place in Austin and “embellished” might be too generous. Now the nearby 1,012-room JW Marriott convention hotel that they are also building, would qualify as embellished, but it’s still a box (or two).
I’m curious what the other two sides look like? Hopefully close to the same (minus the glass at the corner) and not big blank stucco walls. I’m looking at you 12th & Elati apartments..
I have a couple of questions Ken.
Will this building hug up on the Colorado Press Association building?
Also, I see 50+ cars in that parking lot. Whats drawing all those drivers to park there? I.e. who is that parking lot generally associated with?
