Let’s quickly head over to 26th and Welton and check out a project that has been making great progress since our last update. The Lydian, rising eight-stories and containing 130 apartments, 15,300 square feet of office space, and 9,266 square feet of retail, is now above the street level and is going vertical after approximately three months of underground work.

In the photos below, we can see that steel, attached to the underground concrete podium, will be the structure’s material going forward. Typically, steel builds go vertical quicker than concrete or wood builds; 1144 Fifteenth and the Triangle Building are good examples of that.

The Lydian still has a long ways to go, but it is exciting to finally see it going vertical above the street level!
