Back in April, we announced that UC Health was planning to build a new health care center in the Cherry Creek neighborhood. The five-story, 88,000 square foot building will be replacing a small strip mall, making much better use of the land.
The project site has been mostly cleared, and it looks like excavation will begin within the next couple of weeks. Here are two photos of the project from across East 1st Avenue.
Looking over the fence, we can see that the site has mostly been cleared except for the large signs that once stood along the street.
A large amount of excavation is coming up next for this project as four levels of underground parking need to be excavated.
