Our last update on 1500 Market was in early August when we had a chance to see inside this new 16,000 square foot office building in Denver’s historic Lower Downtown. Now that 1500 Market is open and the streetscape in front of the building has been completed, let’s take a final look at this important addition to the LoDo historic district.
From all angles, 1500 Market looks great. The four-story building, designed by Tryba Architects and technically an addition to the adjacent Rocky Mountain Seed Building, sits comfortably in between its two historic neighbors and beautifully fills the void of the surface parking lot that previously occupied this prominent corner site. 1500 Market also proves that an all-brick facade is not an absolute necessity to allow a new building in LoDo to harmoniously relate to its surrounding historic context—at least for a small infill site like this one.
Now for our photo tour around the building, starting along 15th Street and wrapping around the corner onto Market:
Along the sidewalk, 1500 Market offers a raised patio where GoSpotCheck employees can work and socialize. While currently used as office space, 1500 Market’s ground floor was designed to be convertible to a restaurant or retail space in the future.
That’s it for our coverage of 1500 Market, another successful repair of Downtown’s urban fabric, and congratulations GoSpotCheck on your new headquarters!

Wow, that went up quick and it turned out really nice.
This building is perfect for its location. Congratulations to Tryba. Denver needs more architects like them.
Now hopefully a visionary individual comes along soon and cleans up the eyesore across the street, where PF Changs is sited as the corner of the block is tainted by an incredibly ugly surface parking lot. A similar building to 1500 Market with some architectural distinctiveness is highly desirable, perhaps 6-8 stories tall, all the way to the sidewalk with some street landscaping.
Agreed, its time all those G-Wagons go park somewhere else haha
What’s going up at the northwest corner of 15th and Champa? Thanks!

I’m grateful for the different exterior materials. As much as I love brick, I think other options can liven up the aesthetic.
