Two projects that will fill key corners in Downtown Denver are now vertical above the street level. Not only do they fill in small, decades-old voids, but they also complete the street wall on their respective blocks.

The first project we would like to celebrate going vertical is the Thompson Hotel. This 11-story hotel project eradicates a parking lot along the 16th Street Mall in Lower Downtown. Currently, work on the second floor has begun.

The second project that is now vertical above the street level is the Hyatt Centric. While Central Downtown surface lots are few and far between, there are a handful that still need to be eradicated. It’ll be great having the corner at 18th and Champa Street filled in.

It’s nice to see these two projects starting to go vertical!
