Two years ago, in our June 2020 River North (East) Roundup, we mentioned a new 188,000 square foot office project proposed for the northeast corner of 34th and Walnut. Since that was at the peak of the pandemic, it was uncertain when the project would break ground. Fast forward to present-day, and Paradigm River North has broken ground, with the project site sporting a new tower crane as of this weekend.
Below are a few photos of the Paradigm River North project site from Sunday.
In addition, here are a couple more photos of the new tower crane erected over the weekend. On Sunday, crews were finishing taking down the mobile crane that helped erect the tower crane.
While not much has changed since we last mentioned Paradigm River North, we have some fresh renderings to share. The architect on record is Tryba Architects.
With more than a dozen tower cranes over River North, it is a clear indicator that this neighborhood is booming!

I live over here, I have spent more time I can care to admit looking into what happened with the segment of Lawrence that swooshes through in front of the 7/11 that was removed. None of the cities documents have anything to say about it! (its the spot with the light that should be a roundabout.)
It’s actually kind of a complex deal. Lawrence used to be a state highway that was given to Denver from CDOT decades ago. However, when a city no longer uses a highway for highway purposes, the land technically goes back to CDOT. CDOT, at the city’s request, then sold their interest in the land meaning if the city ever ceased to use the roadway, interest would go to the recipient of the sale, which was EXDO.
