Here’s Federal Transit Administration head honcho Peter Rogoff announcing that Denver’s FasTracks program will receive $300 million in loans for Denver Union Station and $1 billion in direct payments over several years for construction of the Gold and East commuter rail lines.
This is a great day for metro Denver!
This is great news. Finally is all I have to say.
Our city is moving forward!
Freakin’ wicked awesome 🙂
Hi Hip Horay!!! You mean we might actually be able to take a train from DIA to Downtown in our lifetime!! Now all we need to do to is get a high speed train funded from Downtown to Vail or Grandjunction!! You would think with public/private partnerships this can be accomplished as well! This news gives me hope and I am proud of the city I call home. “To infinity and beyond”;-)
