Want an on-site overview of Downtown’s biggest construction project? DenverInfill blogger Rick (of Union Station Update fame) and I will be taking turns leading biweekly walking tours of the Union Station site for Union Station Advocates. The tours will occur the first, third and (when applicable) fifth Saturday of each month, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. The first tour is this Saturday, October 16.
Cost of the tour is $10 per person (cash only) and all proceeds go to the non-profit Union Station Advocates. Meet at the Light Rail Arch on the Wynkoop side of the historic station at about 9:50 AM. The tours are limited to about 15 people, so first come first served. We’ll discuss the planned public spaces, transit and transportation elements, future vertical development, and anything else about the Union Station project you want to talk about. The one-hour tour will end at the Millennium Bridge.
Construction at DUS is in full swing so join DenverInfill and Union Station Advocates one of these days for a tour of this exciting project!
