There has been a lot of speculation around what is going on in the Denargo Market in the River North neighborhood and what is being developed. There is a crane up and there is something being built which makes it one of the more mysterious developments Denver has seen lately because there is no website, and no renderings of this.
But, even if there are no renderings to be found for this project, I am happy to share some details of the project. MPC Construction (whose website is currently non-existent) appears to be the construction manager, and Cypress Real Estate Advisors is the developer and owner. Here are some pictures of the site which is located between Brighton Boulevard and Denargo Street.
This particular project titled ‘Denargo Market Apartments’ is going to be a 5-story, 301 unit Class-A apartment community according to the sign that is outside of the project. Hopefully soon renderings will be released so we can see the design aspects of this project.
Wow, great post. Thanks for doing the work. Good to see they’re finally putting something together in this area. Can you give us a little better idea as to where this is located? I assume it’s located between the planned Denargo Market Road and Brighton Blvd? Is it closer to the Denver Machine Shop or the City Gate Apartments?
It is to the right of Denargo St and to the left of Brighton Blvd right when Delgany turns into Denargo and Broadway turns into Brighton. If you look at Google Maps there is a street that doesn’t exist yet but says ‘Denargo Market (Planned)’; that’s where this project is.
I wonder if this is the beginning of that big Denargo development that we all saw renderings of a few years ago (that had a couple mid to high rises in it). Or is this an entirely different development…
Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, it’s nice to see something happening in this area.
Yes Dan it is. Fortunately, Cypress finally has started work on the development. Unfortunately, we may not see any high rises/mid rises for quite some time. The site plan and development plan are easily found doing google searches. In time, perhaps 5-10 years this area will be quite dense.
