More good infill development news in Denver’s popular Lower Highland district: Tejon Ten is a 10-unit townhome project planned for the east side of Tejon between West 33rd and 34th Avenues. I’ve marked the site for you on this GoogleEarth aerial image:
Like many of the modern townhome projects being developed in Denver’s urban core these days, the site plan utilizes the depth of the lot to align five units from front to back along both side lot lines, with garage/pedestrian access in the center. Here are a few renderings of the development from the project website:
From my visit to the site last weekend, here’s a site photo showing that construction is underway:
Tejon Ten is located just a block north of the 32nd and Tejon intersection, one of Lower Highlands historic streetcar stops that is now becoming another awesome neighborhood commercial corner.
Long shot question…. anyone know what architect designed the building seen at the rear of this lot (somewhat visible in the last photo)? I stumbled across the dwelling a few weeks ago and it appears to be a single family residence that is smack dab in the middle of this block… only accessible from the alley. I know a few of these odd lots exist but I’ve yet to see any new construction on them. Very cool design in my opinion and any info on the architect/builder would be greatly appreciated.
