The design for Market Station—the name for the mixed-use development that will replace RTD’s vacant Market Street Station at 16th and Market—continues to be refined.
Today, our update consists of a fresh batch of renderings, thanks to Continuum Partners and their design team, El Dorado, BOKA Powell, and Dig Studio. Click and zoom on each image to see at full resolution!

According to the developer, everything is still on track for the start of construction in late Spring 2017.
An extremely important project for the fabric of downtown. Very attractive as well.
Love it. The internal paseo is a great feature and greatly increases the retail offerings.
what is with that brick?!?! I hope it’s just the rendering, because it is atrocious.
otherwise, I love it.
Great for the urban fabric.
It looks like a mix of two types of brick. I like it.
The only thing I would maybe change is have the windows inset a little bit like the 16th and Market hotel (latest renderings), otherwise this is far improved from previous renderings. Regardless this is a GREAT development for downtown.
The brick is actually the RTD building… 🙂
Brick looks awesome, at least it’s not stucco.
Oh boy! A whole block filled with brick boxes. Very innovative! I had hoped for better for this amazing location. I can only hope the actual structure has more prescense that it appears to in these renderings.
IIRC, bricks and boxiness are mandated by the current Lower Downtown design guidelines. One of things that I think sets this development apart is that some of the corners will have textured brick patterns. Take a look at the new building on the SE corner of 35th and Tejon.

I’m sick of these brick boxes…wish we could get some timber going in LoDo:

I love the brick, scale and massive retail component. This project along with Union Station really has the chance to become the Denver Pavilions of the west end of the mall. My only slight hang up is it appears they’re taking out most (if not all) of the mature tress behind the RTD building. There’s some really nice trees there, and it seem to me that a high, dense tree canopy could add to the paseo. Does anyone know their landscape plan?
Mature trees should be saved.
I do value good aesthetics. As a resident I want to see retail that isn’t about stuffing our faces and getting drunk. We want to be able to LIVE downtown.
