As we all know, River North is Denver’s new hot spot with multiple corridors experiencing an infill boom. That being said, it’s time to bring you up to speed with some of the River North development, starting with the Ramble Hotel.
As a refresher, the Ramble Hotel is a three-story, 50-room hotel that will sit on the corner of 25th and Larimer; head on over to our announcement post for more details on the project. Construction is in full swing with a self erecting crane now towering above the site.
Taking a closer look at the site, we can see that excavation is nearly complete leaving a sizable hole in the ground. With a hole this deep, it is assumed that this project will have at least one floor of underground parking.
As a bonus, here is an updated rendering of the Ramble Hotel courtesy of Johnson Nathan Strohe, the project’s architect.
I think we can all agree that the Ramble Hotel will perfectly fit the context of this neighborhood!
Awesome looking building. Glad they went with brick.
I agree, this looks like a very handsome building! I am kind of surprised as to how little I seem to see brick in the newest wave of construction in the Denver area – in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, you see it all over. Is brick in the Denver area unusually expensive or is it that brick just expensive in general?
I like it very much.
Can we please get one of these on every empty corner in Denver?
Beautiful brick work!! Wish this kind of artistry was the norm rather than a rare fluke.
Such a beautiful building!
Brick is always and winning look in my book!!! and this is in Curtis Park Neighborhood.
PLEASE let this be the new standard for infill moving forward… highest-quality infill project I’ve seen on this board in a while (granted this is a rendering, but still)
Best thing to be constructed here in years!
Very well done! Isn’t this street supposed to see improvements to the road/sidewalk coming up soon? Is it part of the RiNO street improvements that will create better lighting, streetscaping, etc? Or – does that only pertain to Brighton Blvd itself?
Absolutely gorgeous (and four stories – not three). 🙂
Apparently, what appears to be the bottom two floors will actually be one big floor. Or so I’ve heard…
Best looking building under construction in Denver… So much better than all the boxy modern clones going up everywhere
