With the new design of DenverInfill now live, we have a lot of infill to catch up on. Let’s start out in the Union Station neighborhood and check in on 1709 Chestnut, a 500-unit 12- and 24-story apartment project.
Since our last update in September, the foundation work is nearly complete with the main structure starting to go vertical above the street level. This is a very exciting milestone! Here are two street-level perspectives.
Looking at the project from the 18th Street Pedestrian Bridge, we can clearly see its vertical progress. Union Station still hosts a great cluster of tower cranes which is always a great sight!
Let’s conclude with an aerial panorama of the Union Station neighborhood, including 1709 Chestnut. It’s amazing how much development has gone in over a short amount of time!
1709 Chestnut is going to make a huge impact in the Union Station neighborhood. It will be very exciting to watch this project rise.
I predict 16 Chestnut will pass this one up and be completed first. That project is just flying along. It’s already almost caught up with this one even though it started much later.
