The Colorado Health Foundation Headquarters is now complete in the Uptown neighborhood. Located at 18th Avenue and Pennsylvania Street, this neat three-story infill project adds 32,500 square feet of office space to the neighborhood.

DenverInfill had some great coverage on this project with updates every step of the way. Follow the link below to visit all of our previous posts.

Colorado Health Foundation Post History

The ground level, the most important aspect in every infill project, is very attractive. This project provides an overall friendly experience to pedestrians with multiple setbacks from the sidewalk, featuring two public seating / plaza areas and ample seating around the exterior.

Another neat aspect of this project is the jagged roof-line. It adds an “out-of-the-box” element that is greatly welcomed. Here is the project from across 18th Street looking south.

Last but not least, here is a closer look at the garden seating area you can see while walking alongside the project. It surrounds the parking ramp that goes down to a single level of underground parking which will be used for visitors and patients.

The Colorado Health Foundation is a great win for the Uptown neighborhood. Not only does it provide an attractive building to this particular block but it also takes part of a block long surface lot that has created a hole in Uptown for many years.
