Market Station, the name for the redevelopment of RTD’s former Market Street Station, is ready to begin construction!

Starting tomorrow, September 29, the site will be fenced off with utility work and demolition of the old bus facility soon to follow.

Market Station has been vacant since May 2014 when its replacement, the Bus Concourse at Denver Union Station, opened.

The project includes about 85,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, 225 apartment homes, and over 90,000 square feet of offices, along with two underground levels for motor vehicle parking.

Market Station is scheduled to be complete by summer of 2019.
