The Saint Francis Apartments at Cathedral Square had its grand opening in February, so let’s wrap up this project with a few photos of the completed building. The six-story development—a joint effort of the Saint Francis Center and St. John’s Cathedral—offers 50 apartments for people who were experiencing homelessness. Located mid-block along the east side of Washington Street between Colfax and 14th Avenue, the four sides of the Saint Francis Apartments feature different geometric compositions. Thanks to this project, another surface parking lot has been eradicated from Denver’s urban core and 50 people now have a place to call home. Congratulations to the Saint Francis Center and St. John’s Cathedral on this important new residential community!
