A new for-sale condominium development is under construction on West 33rd Avenue near Shoshone Street in Lower Highland. Known as Ivy Residences, the project will provide 26 homes in a five-story building. The development site is outlined on the Google Earth image below.
According to the project’s site development plan on file with the city, the residential units will be located on the second through fifth floors. The ground floor will contain the project’s parking area (20 automobile, 12 bicycle) located behind the building lobby, which will face 33rd Avenue. For more about the Ivy Residences, read this article by John Rebchook in the Colorado Real Estate Journal from earlier this year.

We stopped by the Ivy Residences construction site the other day to bring you these photos:
It’s great to see more for-sale condominiums under construction, and this project has a nice scale for a neighborhood with a mix of single-family and multi-family housing.
Ivy Residences is scheduled to be finished later in 2019.
Damn, that rendering with the skyline in the background is fun to look at.
I don’t quite understand the pricing of these and other new condos around the city. $750k for 1,100 square feet. Personally I find it hard to understand why you buy this over a 2,000 sq ft townhouse in the neighborhood. Though also can’t say I’d be surprised if it sells well.
