Today we have a quick update on 260 North, a new office building going up in Cherry Creek North. When we announced this project back in December, work had already commenced on the underground levels with an elevator core just above the street-level.
Present day, the entire project is starting to go vertical with work beginning on the second floor. Here are a couple photos of the project looking towards East 3rd Avenue along Josephine Street.
Below is one additional view of the project from the corner of East 3rd Avenue and Josephine Street. The recently completed Marriott Moxy Hotel had a blank wall facing this project site which, if you look closely, is now completely covered up by an elevator core.
There are multiple projects beginning to wrap up in Cherry Creek North that should be complete by the spring. We will swing by in a couple months for an exciting Cherry Creek week!
i wish you would take pictures from a variety of locations rather then three pictures of essentially the same thing. It would be nice to see pictures of the spaces between buildings, or along the alley. It’s frustrating to scroll through pictures that don’t tell us anything new.
Well Jim, I’m sorry I didn’t provide ALL the angles for you. I was passing by and thought it would be nice to provide a quick update. Given this is a volunteer run website, any time spent taking pictures and writing these posts is taken out of our free time. For example, I wrote this post on the train to work this morning. So out of the kindness of our hearts we at least gave you a glimpse of what is going on at 260 Josephine.
Well said Ryan! We appreciate what you and Ken do regarding Denver Infill as we understand it is a voluntary effort.
This site is an invaluable resource and your work is truly appreciated and valued!
Great thought Jim! Those photos obviously ruined the post. I’d recommend checking out that other comprehensive blog with insider knowledge about every single development in Denver for the last decade. Minimum 3 angles for each post. They also love thoughtless criticism over there.
Thanks for your rime, Ryan. You’re greatly appreciated.
I would like to counter Jim’s post and thank you and everyone at Denver Infill (and Denver Urbanism) for providing us with this service. The fact that we Denverites have had this resource (since 2000? Give or take) is amazing. Keep up the great work!
I, too, love what you guys do. Even though I live a mile from Cherry Creek, when I’m down there, I’m always on the lookout for peds and tourists. These views are much appreciated.
Get a life Jim. Thank you guys for all your time and effort providing us with this resource! Denverinfill is one of only two pages I have bookmarked and check on a regular basis.
I’ll add to the chorus and say “thanks” to Ryan and Ken. It’s been remarkable to watch Denver grow, both via this blog’s posts and in meatspace.
Ignore Jim, what you guys do is awesome and appreciate around the Denver community!
You guys do an AMAZING job! As a contractor featured in your posts, we appreciate the beauty and words behind each and every one of your posts!
Thank you!!!!
Looks like another example of how inexpensive it is for developers to close a sidewalk (or multiple sidewalks) in Denver. Would be great if the pricing structure was set so that developers would be incentivized to provide safe walkways around their development for neighbors, shoppers, and adjacent hotel guests.
