It has been almost a year since we checked in at the CU Denver City Heights Residence Hall and Learning Commons project at the Auraria Campus. In that year, the building went from just coming out of the ground to almost complete.
As a refresher, this 182,000 square foot project will feature student housing, rising seven stories and providing 555 beds, a 20,000 square foot dining facility, and a three-story Learning Commons wing that will include a variety of student-support and academic-support functions.
As you can see in the photos below, most of the brick facade is now complete.
Here are some additional aerial views of the building with a great Denver Skyline backdrop.
This project is expected to wrap up by the fall just in time for the new academic year.
550 beds will be great for the campus and lower downtown! Any early plans for the 2nd half of the block along Walnut Street?
