A small project is underway in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood along Lincoln Street. Dubbed Satori, this project will provide the neighborhood with 24-units of for-sale housing contained in a five-story building. Satori is located at 958 Lincoln Street, mid-block along Lincoln Street between East 9th and 10th Avenue. Below, we have an aerial with the project site outlined.
As we mentioned above, this project is already underway as the main structure has topped out with exterior insulation now going up. Here are a couple of photos from along Lincoln Street and the alley from East 10th Avenue.
Satori will feature a single floor plan in all 24 of its units. Each unit will feature two bedrooms and one bathroom contained in a 977 square foot space. Here is a rendering courtesy of the developer’s website, Oyster International.
Completion for Satori is expected sometime next summer. We will swing back around when this project is complete.
The 50s/60s era building next door- Now that is a great building!
It was built in 1961. I believe the architect is William Muchow. It was originally something like a women’s club building. I read about it once when I was researching modernists architects and buildings in Denver, but now I don’t remember the details and I couldn’t find out any historical information about it on the internet. It is a miracle that it hasn’t been demolished or remodeled beyond recognition like many space mid-century buildings.
On their website, there’s also an Arapahoe Square high rise featured called Gigamoto. Is that project in development as well?
I, too would like to know the status of this project… Gigamoto mixed with the towers proposed for Block 176 would lay down a nice foundation for growth in Arapahoe Square.
A concept plan was filed with the city on Gigamoto back in 2016 and nothing since. Looks like it’s been withdrawn.
Oh wow this is just so amazing and the density.
