Let’s head over to Baker to check in on a few projects. Over by the Alameda light-rail station, a new seven story apartment building is now starting to go vertical. The third floor at PDG Alameda Station is underway with the primary structure transitioning to light gauge steel.
Below are a couple of photos from West Dakota Avenue showing the concrete podium and steel transition.
Moving around to the other side of the project, vertical action is also taking place along West Alameda Avenue.
Let’s wrap up the update with a couple more detail photos of the steel structure going up. The height of this project will be split along the site. Along West Alameda Avenue, the building will top out at five stories and rise up to seven stories on the south end towards West Dakota Avenue.
PDG Design District will continue to help urbanize the Broadway Marketplace area of Baker. We can only help that this momentum continues and more empty lots around the area get filled.
Great project!
Any renderings available of this project?
There is also a 375 unit AMLI project proposed on the block to the east on Bannock.
