Let’s head over to the Golden Triangle to check in on the only project currently under construction in the neighborhood. The 17-story 10th and Acoma project, featuring 373 homes, is making some headway in regards to vertical progress.
The five-story podium is now structurally complete with windows and brick starting to go in. When facing Acoma Street, the above-ground parking garage is completely wrapped with apartment units.
The red brick facade has started to go up on the west end of the podium and will likely terminate where the scaffolding ends in the photos below. When looking back at the renderings, you can see that the parking garage will be partially exposed down the alley between Acoma Street and Bannock Street.
With nine more floors to be poured, this project still has a ways to go.
Yay! Glad you guys are making posts again 🙂
Great to hear that there’s no parking exposure to human eyes, apart from that little alley. If you have to include parking in your building, this is a good way to mitigate the hideousness of it.
Given some of the surrounding low rise buildings (3-4 stories), I really like the set back & balconies along Acoma St. I’ve accepted the fact that most of the developments in this area will be massive, full-city-block-long structures with above ground parking, but hopefully there will be more of a push for set backs & wrapped parking with residential units to give this neighborhood more character.
So glad you’re back – I have been missing my Denver updates.
Any word on the construction shutdown this week, Monday/Tuesday 10/19-20/20 so far?
DenverInfill does not report on events that would happen internally on the build site. We are not associated with any project outside of just reporting its progress.
Work shutdown at Acoma and 10th construction site.
Still no activity on this site as of 10-22-20. OSHA? Covid breakout?
The shutdown has gone on this entire week, 10/19-23. Any word on why?
