Back in February 2020, a formal ground-breaking ceremony was held for T3 RiNo, and it was due to start construction shortly after. However, due to the pandemic, the project was put on hold until further notice. Fast forward to the present, and T3 RiNo is back in business with an official ground-breaking statement made by Hines, the project’s developer, last week.
As a refresher, T3 (Timber, Transit, and Technology) RiNo will be a six-story building featuring 238,000 square feet of office space and 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The structure itself will feature a refined industrial, heavy-timber design much like Platte Fifteen.
Demolition of the small warehouse and site preparations are already underway on the project site. Below are a few photos of the site from this past weekend.
Here are a couple of current renderings of T3 RiNo. The architects on record are Pickard Chilton Architects and DLR Group. Whiting-Turner is behind the construction of the project. For more renderings of the project, head on over to its official website.
It is very exciting to see T3 RiNo and so many other projects get underway in River North.
Love the project! What a great look.
