Another 400-foot tower is now under construction in Downtown Denver. We saw this coming back in March when we reported that dozens of jersey barriers were delivered to 1900 Lawrence. Fast forward to the present day and the parking lot has been ripped up, with excavation now underway. Two pier drilling rigs have also moved onto the project site.
Below are a few photos from a little higher up to get a full perspective of the project site.
Walking around the perimeter, you can see that dirt is starting to move and that the surface parking lot is no more.
It’s exciting to see three towers contained in two projects under construction in Downtown Denver!
Project Description | Developer | Architect | Contractor |
---|---|---|---|
30 Stories | 700,000 sq ft office | 630 (v) parking | Riverside | Goettsch Partners | Hensel Phelps |
Links to, or context shots of, the planned project would be great. I know it’s not a lot of effort to dig for renderings or addresses, but helpful. Regardless, thx for the updates!

All of the projects we cover can be accessed up at the top under “Projects.” 1900 Lawrence is there on the “brick wall” and it will pull up every post we have done on the project, including the announcement and renderings.
Wish denver would denver taller office development 47 stories or more
Denver is stuck with 30 and 40 story
Buildings
Downtown Denver is la land located if city council doesn’t change rezoning
I mean, that’s great and all, but green lighting a couple 30-40 story towers a year for the next decade would be transformational, particularly with a focus on residential. My guess is taller towers aren’t viable until there’s more demand for major commercial hubs. And you’re not going to get that without another major influx of young, educated workforce who enjoy an urban living experience. That’s going to require emphasis on building housing and local retail opportunities.
