Hensel Phelps, the general contractor for 1900 Lawrence, has recently delivered several dozen jersey barriers to their project site, which can only mean one thing: construction is on the horizon for another 400-foot tower in Downtown Denver. Last year, Riverside Investment & Development Company mentioned that they to break ground on 1900 Lawrence March 2022. With March ending this week, it’s only fitting to see pre-construction activities.
Below are a few recent photos of the project site highlighting the jersey barriers and a few piles of asphalt ripped up from the surface parking lot. The jersey barriers will eventually be used around the perimeter to help secure the project site and fence.
Three towers close to breaking ground along 18th and 19th Street in Downtown Denver is great news and an awesome start to the year. For a full set of renderings, head on over to our previous 1900 Lawrence post.

Good riddance to a terrible surface parking lot with an exciting building!
“Jersey barriers.” So THAT’S what those things are called.
I have a view of this, 18th & Glenarm, and X3 from my desk. Looking forward to watching them rise.
For progress on this project.
