Construction began in the fall on Modera LoHi, a new residential development that will add 126 homes for rent in the walkable downtown-edge Lower Highland neighborhood. In October, the site’s old office building and parking lot had been removed and construction was underway. Just two months later, most of the excavation for the two levels of underground parking is complete. Due to the significant slope of the property, the shoring walls on the upper end near Boulder Street are much taller than those on the lower end near Central Street.
